mosium Privacy Policy

1. No mosium account

You do not need a separate mosium account to use the app.

2. Information stored on your Mac

mosium's application data, including Collections, registered items, placement, and settings, is primarily stored on your Mac.

For continued access to local apps, files, and folders, mosium may store references used by the macOS App Sandbox security model.

Initial Release does not provide a mosi labs account service that uploads your Collections or local-file references to a mosium cloud backend.

3. Website icon retrieval

For URL items, mosium can use macOS metadata facilities to retrieve an icon that helps identify the website.

This can cause macOS to contact the registered website and network resources that the site references for metadata or icons. As with ordinary web access, the destination site or its delivery providers may receive network information such as your IP address.

This feature is not used to send your URL history to a mosi labs analytics or advertising server.

Retrieved icon data may be cached on your Mac to reduce repeated retrieval. The cache is treated as recreatable data.

4. Purchases

Full purchase, restoration, and entitlement checking use Apple's StoreKit / App Store infrastructure.

Apple's terms and privacy policies apply to Apple's purchase processing. Initial Release does not operate a separate mosi labs payment server.

5. Backups

When you choose Export Backup…, mosium writes a backup file to a location you select. The backup can include Collections, settings, and references to local items.

You control where exported backup files are stored, copied, or shared.

6. Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Initial Release does not include:

• in-app advertising
• mosi labs-operated user tracking
• a third-party analytics SDK

Diagnostic information that Apple may independently process as part of macOS or the App Store is governed by Apple's settings and policies. This does not mean that mosi labs controls Apple's diagnostic systems.

7. Support email

If you contact support@mosi-labs.com, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and attachments, so that we can respond to your support request.

Support email is processed using the email-service providers used by mosi labs. Please do not send personal or confidential information that is not needed to resolve the issue.

Support correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request and maintain appropriate support records.

8. Sale of personal information

mosi labs does not operate a business that sells mosium users' personal information for advertising purposes.

9. Changes to this policy

If mosium's data practices change, this page will be updated. Material changes that require new product consent or App Store disclosures will be handled under the rules applicable at that time.
